What am I

Question: What am I?

Answer 1: A bum author
Believe it or not, I started a magic fiction named Sing the Moon by the Steam (like a poetry, isn't it?) when I was 13.

Never have I lacked the interest in literature, especially in poetry and fantasy. A Dream of Red Mansions, one of the Four Great classical Chinese novelshas become part of my life. Also, I am crazy about Harry Potter series. Sometimes I feel like Walter Mitty to the marrow of my bones.

I'm still working on it but at a snail's pace. And frankly, my writing skills didn’t improve after 15, when I finally chose music as my major. A really hard struggle! But I won’t give up writing. GIVE UP is never in my dictionary.

It doesn’t matter that I’m a bum author. I’m writing. That’s enough!

Answer 2: A successful idiot
When I told my head teacher Mr. Guo that I decided to be a professional musician, he just shouted at me surprisingly.

“You idiot! You are wasting your high grades!”

Of course, it's beyond his comprehension like most of the other people around me. There is a conservative bias that only students who have bad grades in academic study choose music and art.

And Mr. Guo refused to allow me not to attend evening self-study classes, so I had no choice but to practice my piano at noon and after 22:00 p.m, running fast on my way home from school.

“A top student chooses music! Don't you think she's an idiot? ” A good topic of conversation, huh? To put it bluntly, they couldn't care less about me.

Anyway, I’m a successful idiot, for I always be myself from the inside out.

Answer 3 : A lucky poor student of music
”We missed the last train! Just if I didn’t take a longer piano lesson!”

”Don’t worry, go to the bus station! Look, on the opposite!”

”But the bus will be off in a minute either!”I followed my mother nervously. The heavy rain slashed against the road and drenched my pants.Cold chills went up and down my spine as I wondered where did we run.

”Jining! Jining!” A scalper stood in my way suddenly, “You go to Jining?”I hesitated a little.

”Leave her alone!”My mother turned and shouted at me, “Hurry up! I see the bus!” She stopped and showed me the cutest bus I had ever seen,“Hop in first and I’ll buy the tickets!”

We finally got home after 4 hours. My mother was all wet that night. I was to blame. I brought a heavy financial and spiritual burden on her. However, she is proud of her daughter. How I wish I can become strong and excellent enough! But now I’m not! I let her down!

I’m so grateful I can study music. Many students like me don’t even have a chance!

I'd have to tell myself:
YOU ARE ALREADY WHAT YOU ARE!
So girl, keep going! Everything will be fine!

Proper answer: I'm MYSELF!
